About Us
The Oystermen Seafood Bar & Kitchen is now open for inside and outside dining. Friends and Seasoned restaurant pros Matt Lovell and Rob Hampton founded The Oystermen in 2016. They first met when Matt interviewed Rob for a job! Initially, The Oystermen set out to host first-class oyster bars at marriages and events but with the long-term ambition of opening their restaurant to showcase the finest and freshest oysters and seafood from all corners of the British Isles. Following on from their first gig – Matt’s very own wedding – a year of buzz-generating parties, festivals, street food markets, pop-ups and brewery collaborations later, that dream became a reality in July 2017 with the opening of the first permanent Oystermen Seafood Bar & Kitchen in Covent Garden.
